Couples' Cozy Retreat

The staff welcomed us with tea and a homemade cake, just like a little family gathering. They even put up a birthday banner in our room which really warmed our hearts.

It wasn't inexpensive but honestly, totally worth it.

Our recent 3-night stay was amazing! The bed in our Double or Twin Room was so comfy, and breakfast was delightful. loved the locally sourced ingredients! Plus, the restaurant's atmosphere was perfect—definitely would return.

The honesty bar was great for late-night snacks, and the cosy snug was the perfect chill spot after a day of cycling.

We stayed in a lovely Double or Twin Room and enjoyed some fantastic bike rides through the New Forest. The staff were incredibly accommodating, offering tips for local trails, and the breakfast with local jams kept everyone happy, especially my teens!

My kids wished there had been more activities for them to enjoy within the hotel, perhaps a games room or something entertaining.

The room was super comfy with a cozy bed and lovely linen. It felt spacious and clean. Having fresh milk for tea was a nice touch. My only gripe was some condensation on the windows in the morning. a delightful stay!

My stay at the Cottage was delightful. The charming wood beams and warm atmosphere felt like a home away from home. Though the room's size was cozy, the wonderful breakfast featuring local ingredients more than made up for it!

I appreciated the warm welcome upon arrival, complete with tea and cake. The classics in the breakfast menu featured locally sourced ingredients, setting a delicious start to my day.

The honesty bar looked interesting, but I couldn't partake as I am tee-total.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend respite in Brockenhurst with good value for cost. The breakfast with the made-to-order Eggs Benedict was a highlight, we loved it! Consider checking in early to enjoy the local area more.

Arrived to find our name on the parking space, such a nice touch! Our room was snug but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choices were excellent, loved the gluten-free options. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. Only bummer was the weather kept us from exploring more of the area.

the cottage offers a fantastic location, super close to shops and restaurants. we loved the comfortable bed and nice amenities like tea and toiletries. the breakfast was plentiful and excellently organized, truly a highlight. the owners were very friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

Charming atmosphere and fantastic breakfast

I had a delightful two-night stay in the Double or Twin Room with Terrace. The hotel is beautifully furnished and radiates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every morning started with an exceptional breakfast, featuring a great variety of fresh options and attentive service. I felt that the lounge area could benefit from more seating.

The cottage is adorned with charming period features like lovely wooden beams, which added to its quaint character. It was easy to stroll around with my friends and the welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home.

More seating in the lounge would be helpful.
